Passover to Promise
April 19, 2024
Starting Monday evening the 22nd is Passover, historically where the Israelites were freed from the Egyptian oppression and no longer slaves, but gathered resources from their captors and headed out towards the promise land. God had showed Himself strong on their behalf, overpowering the false gods of man, and demonstrating His miracle working power for their enemy to be completely wiped out. Passover also was the evening in which Jesus Christ, our Passover lamb, was crucified. Jesus’ blood, and just like the blood of the lamb on the doorposts of the Israelites during their time in Egypt, Jesus’ blood over our lives frees us from the captivity of death and disarms the powers of darkness. Jesus fulfilled Passover.
Colossians 2:13-15 When you were dead in your sins and in the uncircumcision of your flesh, God made you alive with Christ. He forgave us all our sins, having canceled the charge of our legal indebtedness, which stood against us and condemned us; he has taken it away, nailing it to the cross. And having disarmed the powers and authorities, he made a public spectacle of them, triumphing over them by the cross.
I believe God is doing another major work during this time of Passover as we enter into greater freedom and are resourced and empowered to walk out our kingdom assignments and see our lives, families, cities, and nations liberated and transformed in Jesus’ name.
Specifically, I have been hearing this below: The awaited time for God’s judgment and freedom for His people is here as He shepherds us and leads us as a warrior bride, connected to Him and each other. He has given us divine authority for new beginnings and it is time to birth what He has given us this season to possess our promises, rise up and be freed from bondage.
God is taking the disorder around us for us to rise up and be victorious and be unshakeable as we sit with Him on His holy mountain and reign with Him above the rest to see His best unfold from Heaven upon the earth. There is divine help along the way and His gifts and people and angelic help to guard the gifts and promises He has given us as we war from the place of victory seated with Him. It is time for this divine exchange and for beauty from ashes as we rebuild the ancient ruins going forward to establish Heaven on Earth.
It is birthing time for the body of Christ to be the warriors we are called to be and guard the treasures of Christ and wealth He gives us as God's mountain is established on earth.
Below are several key passages to read and meditate on as you look to the Lord for His direction and strategies to go forth and Possess the Promise.
Also listen and watch the Spoken Word lyrical video Possess the Promise for God to continue to strengthen, encourage and lead you in these days to come.

Passages Psalms 106:1-8 Praise the Lord! (Hallelujah!) Oh give thanks to the Lord, for He is good; For His mercy and lovingkindness endure forever! Who can put into words the mighty deeds of the Lord? Or who can proclaim all His praise [that is due Him]? Blessed are those who observe justice [by honoring God’s precepts], Who practice righteousness at all times. Remember me, O Lord, when You favor Your people. Visit me with Your salvation [when You rescue them], That I may see the prosperity of Your chosen ones, That I may rejoice in the gladness of Your nation, That I may glory with Your inheritance. We have sinned like our fathers; We have committed iniquity, we have behaved wickedly. Our fathers in Egypt did not understand nor appreciate Your miracles; They did not remember the abundance of Your mercies nor imprint Your loving kindnesses on their hearts, But they were rebellious at the sea, at the Red Sea. Nevertheless, He saved them for His name’s sake, That He might make His [supreme] power known.
Psalm 68:1-10 May God arise, may his enemies be scattered; may his foes flee before him. May you blow them away like smoke—as wax melts before the fire, may the wicked perish before God. But may the righteous be glad and rejoice before God; may they be happy and joyful. Sing to God, sing in praise of his name, extol him who rides on the clouds; rejoice before him—his name is the Lord. A father to the fatherless, a defender of widows, is God in his holy dwelling. God sets the lonely in families, he leads out the prisoners with singing; but the rebellious live in a sun-scorched land. When you, God, went out before your people, when you marched through the wilderness, the earth shook, the heavens poured down rain, before God, the One of Sinai, before God, the God of Israel. You gave abundant showers, O God; you refreshed your weary inheritance. Your people settled in it, and from your bounty, God, you provided for the poor.
Psalm 68:28-35 Summon your power, God; show us your strength, our God, as you have done before. Because of your temple at Jerusalem kings will bring you gifts. Rebuke the beast among the reeds, the herd of bulls among the calves of the nations. Humbled, may the beast bring bars of silver. Scatter the nations who delight in war. Envoys will come from Egypt; Cush will submit herself to God. Sing to God, you kingdoms of the earth, sing praise to the Lord, to him who rides across the highest heavens, the ancient heavens, who thunders with mighty voice. Proclaim the power of God, whose majesty is over Israel, whose power is in the heavens. You, God, are awesome in your sanctuary; the God of Israel gives power and strength to his people. Praise be to God!
